On Saturday 19 February at noon, you can line up in front of Huks Fluks in Gråbrødre Torv to get a slice of barbecued Swedish wild boar with bread and salad for DKK 75. Mmm, roast boar - I can almost taste it...

I live to eat (well). And I love to live (and eat well) in Copenhagen.

I find that when I travel (which I also love, but who doesn't?), the thrill of getting acquainted with your travel destination is even better with some insider tips from someone who knows the destination first-hand. A cosy cafe, a quirky shop, the particular atmosphere of a park or a square. What to see and what to skip. All the stuff that isn't in the guide book.

The purpose of this blog is simply to share with you all the good things that Copenhagen has to offer so that you can pick and choose - and perhaps to spare you of a few things that aren't worth your time.

My hope is that when you return home, it will be with a sense that you discovered your own Copenhagen, and (hopefully!) that you can't wait to come back for more.
